Can a foreigner register a yacht in Poland?
Yes: EU citizens and companies can register vessels in the Polish registry, which is popular for cost reasons. I handle the registration process and the purchase documentation.
What licence do I need to sail in Poland?
Yachts up to 7.5 m of hull length generally require no licence; larger sailing yachts and motorboats above 10 kW do. Foreign certificates (e.g. RYA) are recognised within defined limits; details depend on the vessel and waters.
